Authors:
ROGER
MUDD, one of television's most distinguished and honored journalists,
was CBS News chief Washington correspondent, and Weekend Anchor
for the Evening News and substitute for Walter Cronkite. The
Place To Be: Washington, CBS, and the Glory Days of Television
News is his engrossing and unflinchingly candid account
of what it was like when CBS dominated television news in
the latter part of the last century.
ROGER MILLER has
worked as a commercial photographer in Baltimore for the last
thirty-five years. He has photographed, produced and published
thirtyfive books covering areas in Maryland, the US Naval
Academy, US Coast Guard Academy and West Point. Having produced
over 600,000 slides and digital images, he is a major source
of stock photography in the region.
MICHAEL DUFFY ,
as TIME magazine's assistant managing editor and Washington
Bureau chief, has covered national politics, presidents, the
White House, the Pentagon, and the Congress for over 24 years.
He is the co-author of The Preacher and The Presidents:
Billy Graham in the White House, which explores the relationship
between religion and American political life, and Marching
in Place: The Status Quo Presidency of George Bush.
