Mark
Bramble - Director
and author of the hit Broadway musical 42nd Street (Tony Award
for Best Musical, Laurence Olivier Award for Musical of the
Year). He began his theatrical career under the tutelage of
David Merrick, for whom he worked on 27 productions. As author,
his shows include: Barnum, (ten Tony Award nominations including
Best Book and Best Musical), The Three Musketeers, and collaborations
for The Grand Tour, Treasure Island and the off-Broadway opera
Elizabeth & Essex.
Daryl
Davis - Master of American Roots music, was
born in Chicago -- Blues Capital of the world. He has worked
with such legends as Chuck Berry, Elvis Presleys Jordanaires,
Muddy Waters Legendary Blues Band, The Coasters, and
Bo Diddley. Pioneer pianists Pinetop Perkins and Johnnie Johnson
both claim him as their godson and have praised his ability
to master -- with utmost authenticity -- Blues, Boogie Woogie,
Rock n Roll, Rockabilly, Country Western &
Zydeco: the very roots of American music.
Paul
DiPasquale - Sculptor working on a monumental scale and
specializing in public portraits in bronze and marble. His
permanent installations include the Arthur Ashe Monument for
Richmond VAs Monument Avenue and the 26 high King
Neptune commissioned for the Neptune Festival of Virginia
Beach, VA. His solo exhibitions include: American Academy
in Rome, Fulcrum Gallery, Peninsula Fine Arts Museum,University
of Richmonds Marsh Gallery and the North Carolina Museum
of Art.
Kelly
Kennedy - Singer, actress, dancer and composer and featured
performer in Colonial Williamsburg. She plays piano, guitar,
harpsichord, and a variety of traditional folk instruments.
Kelly Kennedy tours and records with the Irish band, 39 Fingers.
Her solo albums have garnered praise and airplay nationwide.
As an actress, she has appeared at Arena Stage, The Kennedy
Center, Theatre Virginia and received critical acclaim in
the role of Nancy in Byrony Laverys haunting play Frozen.
MASTER OF CEREMONIES
John Schratwieser - Executive Director of the Prince Theatre
Foundation,
holds his MA degree in Public Administration & Nonprofit
Management from The George Washington University. He has ten
years experience in nonprofit development. His performance
credits include The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus, The
New York Choral Society and The Thomas Circle Singers. John
is producer for the Prince Theatres new production of
the 1999 Tony Award Winning Best Play, Wit.
